We all know the saying, “You get what you pay for”. But, how many of us REALLY know the importance of this adage when it comes to purchasing a trampoline? Though a lower priced trampoline can be appealing to the pocketbook, is it the best choice for you and your family? Here are a few things to consider:

1. PRODUCT WEIGHT: The weight of a trampoline gives an overall idea of thickness and diameter of steel. Lower priced trampolines often weigh around 150lbs. Our Jumpsport Trampolines weigh over 250lbs!

2. NUMBER OF SPRINGS AND SPRING LENGTH: More springs and a longer spring length equals a better and more forgiving bounce (and less chance of overstretching of the springs!)! Our Jumpsport 12′ trampoline has 80 springs and our Jumpsport 14′ contains 96. And both have 8.5″ poles. Less expensive trampolines sold at other retailers often only contain 72 springs and generally have a spring length between 4.5″ to 5.5″.

3. NUMBER OF NET POLES: More net poles equals more stability during the impact of the bounce (and less chance of collapse!). Our Jumpsport trampolines contain 8 net poles. Often competitor’s trampolines only contain 4-6 net poles.
